Cribbage Premium is a computer app version of the classic game of Cribbage, where two or more players compete against each other moving pegs of different colours across the game board to outpace and ultimately defeat one another.

Game, Set, Match

Cribbage Premium sets itself apart from other versions of Cribbage on the computer with difficulty settings as the player plays against the AI. Both new and veteran players may find themselves sufficiently challenged by the AI. The game also offers fairly nice graphics: hands over the board, and a variety of themes from a cozy winter cabin to playing at the bottom of the ocean. These themes have little to no impact on gameplay, however, except maybe in how they affect the game's performance, but they do give the app a premium feel.

A Premium Choice

Overall, Cribbage Premium is a solid implementation of the classic Cribbage game with a few bells and whistles, but note that it doesn't provide ways to tweak the ruleset that some houses might use, and it does run a bit slow on some devices in our testing. Still, if you like Cribbage and cozy looks, this game might be the computerised edition of it that best suits you.
